Budgeting Basics · No Judgment

Your money story starts with one honest look.

I'm Claudia. I found my own spending leak, built a budget that actually held up, and now I'm sharing every tool and lesson here so you can do the same.

This month's progress — tracked, not guessed.

How This Blog Helps

Three habits, no spreadsheets that judge you.

Track it

See exactly where your money goes, down to the last coffee run, without the shame spiral.

Plan it

Build a budget that bends with real life, not one that falls apart the first time gas prices spike.

Grow it

Turn small, boring wins into real savings, one month and one printable at a time.

About Claudia

I budget where I am, not where I should be.

A few years ago I sat down with one bank statement and a number I didn't expect. I wasn't reckless with money — I just hadn't been looking closely enough. That gap between what I earned and what I actually spent became the start of everything I do here.

I tried the budgeting advice that's everywhere: cut your lattes, juggle three different apps, color-code a spreadsheet you'll abandon by week two. None of it stuck, because none of it was built for a real, slightly messy life — a car repair, a phone bill that creeps up, a weekend that gets away from you.

"You don't need a perfect month. You need one honest number to start from."

So I built my own system instead — one page, plain math, and just enough structure to catch problems early without making me feel bad about them. Budgeting with Claudia is everything I've learned doing that, shared as I go: the templates, the small wins, and the months that didn't go as planned.
